- 3 / 5By TJ VeldeLocated in a strip mall setting, this joint is going for a home town feel while throwing in a bit of Caribbean(?) flair. Pastels and fun colors abound, and the walls are adorned with paintings by (one must assume) a novice local painter. I imaging the paintings are intended to add a warm, relaxing, homey feel. The problem is the art of distractingly poor, if not haunting, to the point of distracting from otherwise good coffee and adequate food. I wish I'd sat somewhere I couldn't see them, but that may not be possible. Service was good, food was fair, but I won't return unless I hear the current paintings are removed.
